ABOUT KHADJIAH

Khadjiah Johnson is an Afro-Caribbean American multi-disciplinary artist whose creations focuses on stretching the confines of joy. She's a writer, performer, comedian, late night TV producer and food media creator from Brooklyn, New York; and is a firm believer that every discipline influences one another. As an artistic shapeshifter, you can see her stage performances influencing her cooking, her food writing entwined with her comedy, and her poetry interweaving with everything. She's performed on nationally renowned stages and arenas such as: The Apollo Theater, Madison Square Garden, Allstate Arena, Xcel Energy Center, Columbia University, Lincoln Center and more for live audiences reaching up to 18k.

Khadjiah has written and spoke on the behalf of prominent brands such as Allstate, The Muhammad Ali Center, Crunchyroll and more with a reach of over 2M+ and counting. She is a Periplus 2022 finalist, Brooklyn Botanical Garden Performer in Residence Semi-Finalist, the 2015 New York Youth Poet Laureate runner up, TJ Maxx's "Maxx You Project" honoree, and a 2019 Best of Net Nominee.

She currently serves as a Contributing Writer for Black Nerd Problems and Crunchyroll.
